Bosung Kim (b. 1974) earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fine arts Photography from Chung-Ang University and a Master of Arts in Video Art from New York University. He began his career assisting Sang-Gon Kim and has been actively producing photography and video works in Seoul since 2005.He has taught at Kookmin University, Chung-Ang University, and Kaywon University and is currently an associate professor at Kyungil University’s Department of Photography and Motion Picture.

As the leader of Creative Studio PLAY, Kim has served as a photo director for major fashion magazines such as Vogue Korea, Grazia Korea, and GQ Korea. His accolades include the Creativity Award from the Arena-Audi Black Collar Worker Awards (2006) and Photographer of the Year by the Korea Fashion Group Association (2012).He has published two notable works: Red Catalogue (2018) and Invisible Skin (2021)
